The living environment includes the hostel fees and medical fees that may be incurred such as doctor, physio or pharmacy.
The learning environment costs will be invoiced as they are incurred and include costs for trips, uniform and sports fees. These vary depending on the activity/sport and you will be contacted for prior approval before billing.

Funding & Grants Available
The main funding option to help with hostel fees is the boarding allowance that is available through the Ministry of Education. You can find the application information here.
Available grants can be found on the Māori Education website.
We also encourage you to see if your Iwi has any funding that may be able to support your son to attend Hato Pāora College.
